Announcement: Tony Law is stepping down

I’ve been discussing it with my wife for a while and I’ve finally decided that it’s time I stepped down as Business Manager of the ENnies. It’s sad for me but it’s what’s best. It’s an extremely time-consuming volunteer position and I feel like it’s time for me to step away before I begin to stop giving it the attention it deserves. I still plan on being at Gen Con and I still plan on saying hi to everyone I’ve met over the last few years, but just as a normal fan and not in any professional capacity.

But now the good news: The ENnies is looking for a new Business Manager! If you feel that you have what it takes to volunteer be the new ENnie Awards Business Manager, Russ Morrissey would like to speak to you! Since I will officially relinquish the position after Gen Con 2013, I will work with whomever he chooses this year to make sure they get everything down and know what will be expected of them in the future.

You have done a terrific job, Tony. Whomever Morrus chooses will have some big boots to fill! Congrats on the early retirement.

That’s too bad Tony, you did a great job. Totally understandable though.

  3. Tony, you’ve done a lot of good for the hobby and the awards, and your presence will be DEEPLY missed. The ENnies have grown in both participation and prestige under your leadership, and anyone who follows you will have big shoes to fill.
