Important Announcement Regarding Our Sub...

“Time keeps on slippin’, slippin’, slippin’… Into the future…” - Steve Miller Band Hello ENnies fans! As we prepare for the future of the ENnie Awards, we’ve had to take a long look at the current state of the RPG publishing market and where we see it heading. In years past, the market was flooded with published books that showed up in all manner of FLGS’ around the world. When the ENnies started, that’s how gamers typically got their RPG material; they went to the store, laid their money down, and went home with a bright and shiny new book. And then...

Is the ENnies a “d20-only” A...

One of the complaints that I have heard from some publishers in the last few years is that they still thought of the ENnies as more of a “d20-only Award.” Thinking about it, I delved into the numbers and came up with some interesting statistics concerning the last few years’ nominees and winners. If you don’t know how to enter, check out the rules regarding submission here: http://www.ennie-awards.com/blog/rules/how-to-enter/ Keep those submissions coming and good luck to...

So how does all this work?

This year’s ENnie Awards was a huge success, due in no small part to our awesome fans and volunteers. For that, I extend my sincerest thanks to everyone who has supported us. If you haven’t seen the winners yet, I recommend checking out this page. Make sure to click the links and visit the publisher’s sites and support them so that they can continue to create awesome RPG products. Today, I thought I’d give everyone a little “behind the scenes” peek on how we do things at the ENnies because I thought people may like to know a little bit...

An Open Letter to All RPG Fans/Publisher...

Good Afternoon from Rainy Boston, MA ~ As was mentioned in the beginning of our year of judging, we are only able to nominate what has been submitted to us. Now with 18 days until the deadline (I can’t believe it has almost been a year already) I urge you to look at the submissions list above. Is your favorite product of the year listed there? If it is, excellent. But if it is not, now is the time to start reaching out to your favorite publishers and asking them to submit their products. Publishers, I can’t stress enough the importance of getting your...
