So who are we missing?

May 8th has come and gone and the deadline for submissions has fallen by the wayside. If you haven’t already, check the Submissions Page above to see who’s there and who’s not. With that said, here’s what I would like from you; tell us who we’re missing. Who is not in the list that you wish was there? Judges. Fans. It doesn’t matter. Tell us who you would have liked to have seen submit their products. Keep two things in mind, please. 1) Some packages may still be on their way and 2) We have no control over who submits. Which brings me...

Read it, rank it, repeat.

I didn’t really have a review process in place when I became an ENnies Judge. I was new, after all, and hadn’t been through “the process” before. Of course, I have a process now (without some sort of review process, the submissions would be overwhelming). My process sort of came about organically. I have several piles that of sorted books. [As an aside, I have a box that contains all the non-book items and computer files are stored on my computer’s desktop.] When I’m ready to read a new book, I grab something out of a pile. Only One More Month to Submit Products!

GenCon is getting closer and closer, folks, and so is the ENnie Awards Ceremony! The most important upcoming date, though, is May 8, 2010. This is the very last day that products will be accepted. This means that, if you’re submitting an electronic product, you need to submit it no later than May 8. If you are mailing products, the postmark must be no later than May 8 or you will just be wasting your money. Publishers: If you’ve been putting it off, now’s the time to start packaging/submitting! Fans: I ask that you go to the Submissions page on the...

Address Change for an ENnies Judge

Justin ‘Jay’ Peters has changed his mailing address. The labels on the site have been updated to reflect this change. If you have already sent out material, you do not need to resend it. If you have not, but are planning to, make sure to download the new labels from here:...

On accepting PDF versions of printed pro...

In the past few weeks, we’ve received questions regarding submitting PDF versions of documents that are also available in either hardcover/softcover format or print-on-demand (POD). In that regard, I thought it would be prudent to post our position. In short, we will not accept submissions of products in PDF format if the product is also available in print/POD format. We will only accept the print/POD (printed out and bound) version. However, if a publisher has a product available in POD format and 1) the POD version has sold less the 50 copies and 2) the PDF and...

New Submissions Form is Online
