Introducing Two New Organized Play Categories

The ENnie Awards strives to recognize excellence in tabletop roleplaying games and, in an effort to continue to ensure that every segment of our hobby is considered, we are pleased to announce the introduction of two dedicated categories for the best in Organized Play adventures. For those who volunteer their time and passion to producing adventures for their fellow gamers, we have created the Best Organized Play Adventure by a Volunteer category. And for those publishers who produce Organized Play adventures, we have created the Best Organized Play Adventure by a Publisher category.

Why are we introducing these categories at this time? After deciding on these categories, we felt that there was enough time in this year’s submission period to introduce the categories now in order to be as responsive as possible to the needs of the roleplaying game community. If you are a volunteer or publisher who produces adventures for Organized Play, submit them as soon as possible!

  1. What exactly is meant by ‘organised play’? Does it have to be organised by a publisher or run in a retail environment?
